Prelicense Course Be 19 years of age to obtain license, Have a High School Diploma or GED, Be a US citizen or registered alien, Have not commited a felony or crime of moral terptitude, Complete a 60 hour, state approved, prelicense course, Must pass course final exam (minimum grade of 70), and Pass the state exam (minimum grade of 70 ). Post-License Course Complete a 30 hour, state approved, postlicense course within 6 months of receiving license, and pass a course final exam (grade of 70 required to pass). Continuing Education Courses Licensees must complete 15 hours of state approved courses every 2 years, in order to remain actively licensed. These courses must include 6 hours of Mandatory course work including: Risk Management (Must take this 3 hour course), and One of these 3 hour courses:, ADA, Equal Opportunity and Fair Housing, RECAD, License Law & Trust Funds The remaining 9 hours are from approved elective courses.
